Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.

The Mobile Area Interfaith Conference (MAIC) is committed to restoring dignity, offering hope, and supporting individuals within our local correctional system. One powerful way this mission comes to life is through the Stuff the Box Program—an ongoing outreach effort dedicated to collecting essential hygiene items for our neighbors at the Mobile Metro Jail.
Every day, men and women inside the facility face significant challenges, many of which are amplified by limited access to basic necessities. The Stuff the Box Program helps bridge this gap by gathering items such as:
These everyday essentials provide more than physical comfort—they help affirm dignity, strengthen self-worth, and offer encouragement to individuals preparing to reenter the community. Something as simple as a clean pair of socks or a personal care item can make a profound difference in someone’s journey toward restoration and stability.
The Stuff the Box Program continues year-round, and the generosity of community partners, local congregations, and compassionate individuals makes this work possible. Together, we can ensure that those often forgotten are reminded that they are seen, valued, and supported.
If you or your organization would like to participate, donate items, or learn more about MAIC’s ongoing reentry support initiatives, we invite you to connect with us and join this meaningful effort to uplift our community—one box at a time. To schedule your donation drop off call (251) 308-8725.
